lo Lake is the largest lake in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean Islands. It is located in Pedernales, Independencia Province, southwest of the Dominican Republic.
This is a wonderful place particular feature that makes it unique in the world because it is 40 meters below sea level, at a time in this Island Kids is also located below sea level.
Has a set of natural elements. Inside the impressive fauna that is in place is the presence of crocodiles, particularly in the area of freshwater Borbollón. There is also a large number of iguanas, one can also observe the presence and the flight of exotic birds such as flamingos and herons.

In the vicinity of Lake Enriquillo there is a place known as the Bari, is a beautiful place where they are born and pure spring water from springs and crystal clear. There are other points worth knowing in the area of the lake, such as spring valley lemon, sulfur and Las Caritas. At the lake can be reached by vehicles, while the Kids Island and other points are accessible by boats from the area.
